Over fifty years on, established supply chain partner fwb, is as committed to providing product and procurement solutions to its customers as the day it was founded in 1963. It remains to this day a leading independent, family-owned company, dedicated to delivering an unrivalled service and product offer.
A procurement expert and product distributor for mechanical engineering, civils and RMI projects, fwb operates in major market sectors including infrastructure, construction, industrial and public sector.
At the outset, Shift were chosen to develop fwb’s new brand identity. In an incredibly competitive market and with a new chief executive at the helm, the company was seeking to make an impact. Fwb is full of experienced, long-standing employees that have a great reputation for customer service and product expertise. It also offers an extensive product range but these messages simply weren’t being communicated.
For the re-brand, the main target was to create a consistent, recognisable identity and single message to ensure fwb’s customers, and the sectors in which it operates, to quickly and easily become familiar with the brand. The new identity had to reflect fwb’s current situation yet allow the marketing team to build a new dynamic brand plan.
Shift created a slick new brand identity, which retained fwb’s original colours to ensure an element of consistency was maintained. The introduction of a brand symbol within the logo was designed to aid visual communication across varying media formats. As a result, the new identity has been rolled out successfully throughout the business, both in print and online.
Now acting as fwb’s creative brand guardians, Shift supports the necessary design and digital requirements for fwb on a daily basis, delivering market-leading product brochures, high response e-shots and successful product-led promotional campaigns.
